Oh; I thought it was the other way around. Thanks for the correction. No... guys athletes moving down can play right away. [/q And athlete has to sit out anytime he transfers between division 1 or division 2 unless you can get a waiver. but according to the 4-4 rule any athlete transferring up to division 1 from division 2 or down from division 1to division 2 must sit out. unless they can get a hardship waiver, Or their division 2 school is moving to division 3. there are a number of other waivers that an athlete can apply for that may keep them from sitting out. This is stated clearly on the NCAA rules of transfer website.

Thanks A1; We've all seen how critical it is to have this very important position covered and have a more than capable back up. Very nice credentials and the video also showed a great field goal and punting player, but look like we're covered there already.

Curry twins sign with N.C. A&T football By Chris Miller-Chris.Miller@JDNews.com
Published: Friday, March 27, 2015 at 08:00 AM.
The Curry twins of Northside High are taking their football prowess and personable and sometimes outspoken personalities to Greensboro. Kris and Korey Curry signed national letters of intent Thursday to play at North Carolina A&T University of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. They both called it a dream to not only play collegiate football but also to play Division I. N.C. A&T is a member of the Football Championship Subdivision. “I’m both excited and relieved,” Korey said. “I know where I’m going and I’m excited to be out there playing football again.” Kris echoed his brother’s comments, adding that football gave them a better opportunity than basketball. The twins were key cogs in Northside’s basketball team that this season advanced to the NCHSAA East Regionals for the third consecutive season. “It’s been a dream of ours to play Division I football,” Kris said. “We feel like we found the right choice at A&T. We are pretty good at basketball, but we felt like we had a brighter future in football and that the opportunities for football were much bigger.” The 18-year-old twins will receive partial scholarships along with some academic aid to play for the Aggies, who last season went 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the MEAC. Kris was recruited as a running back while Korey will be brought in as a defensive end. Knowing they wanted to attend college together and be dorm roommates, the brothers also considered Methodist and The Citadel, but felt at home at A&T. Two good In-State recruits. Also it sounds like they could be used as super utility guys who can play at multiple positions. Every coach loves these types of versatile players on their squad.

Broadway is still at it. On Monday he signed Arlander Cherry III, a 6-2 285 lbs. center from Plymouth (NC) HS, who started on two state 2-A championship teams and is a teammate of another earlier A&T signee FB Mike Hollingsworth. Bill Hayes started it back in the 70's and 80's but Broadway seems to have mastered the ability to find and sign quality FCS talent in the smaller classifications of N.C. high school football. twitter.com/carolinapreps1 www.hudl.com/athlete/3653977/arlander-cherry
