I agree we just need to win and don't worry about the rankings at this time. However, some polls are recognizing us, for example:
-Heritage Sports Radio Network Black College Football Poll has A&T ranked 4th. -Sheridan Poll has A&T ranked 5th
And A&T's point in the overall FCS Poll increased from 12 to 33 so just keep winning and we'll be okay.

I like the rankings. It a good tool for recruiting plus as a fan it good way to brag to other people. I think the polls will be important around Week 10 especially if your not going to win the conference.

#23 Maine, #25 Eastern Illinois and #15 Sam Houston State all lost today, so maybe there is a slight chance that we could make it closer to that #26 slot, anyway.

Jackson State Tigers 2-2 39 7 Others receiving votes: Howard 33, Grambling State 20. dang!! given where our program is right now, i'd rather not be ranked that high. i'd rather fly under the radar, don't want teams putting targets on our backs. in this poll, i'll take a 10th to 6th place ranking and be happy, all along knowing we're probably better than that. but i'd rather fly under the radar until we become a "dominant" team and win the meac championship outright...
