Looks like they don't respect us...coaches or players. Looks like there is always some ignorant folk everywhere . I read the comment about our so-called all black coaching staff, and players, I guest reading is not fundamental to some folk . All one has to do is check our athletic website and see the diversity on our staff , and check our team roster also ,SMDH .

Looks like they don't respect us...coaches or players. ohsix....it wouldn't surprise me if Broadway uses this as extra motivation (like more is needed) for Coastal. We match them up front on offense and defense. Plus, we have speed and size at the skill positions. We just need to execute and minimize the turnovers. There's only one way for us to get respect....dominate Coastal in Aggie Stadium!

I think he was trying to be funny but failed miserably. It was in retaliation to another poster, that I believe is from another MEAC school, who made disparaging comments about the diversity of our coaching staff. We were offended by the original post but there is no reason to respond in kind, especially the coaches and players of another school. NCA&T really impressed me on Sunday. Our defense has given up the big plays in past years so if we haven't gotten that worked out we'll be in for a long day. Here's hoping for a great game!

Yeah, it seems one of your fellow poster failed at the comedy angle. But, onto the game, should be interesting. We've got some advantages that we can exploit and vice versa. We realize we have the #4 team in the country coming into our house...thus, we have to play an "A" game to even have a chance. However, there will be fireworks throughout this game...I can't wait. Good Luck!

We don't mind smack talk but that comment was straight ignorance , the majority of comments on your site were respectful. Looking forward to a good game on Saturday , hope you can make the trip .

Looks like they don't respect us...coaches or players. Neither did App State. You can bet they aren't singing that tune anymore. I, for one, am not conceding anything to CCU and you can best believe Broadway and this team are not going to roll over for anyone, win lose or draw. Looking forward to seeing how this shakes out Rokamortis.

I have measured expectations for this game. My heart believes we will we win. My head tells me that our passing game and pass defense aren't nearly good enough to win this game. The wildcard could be the special teams.
I'm merely hoping that we can keep things competitive for four quarters.

Unfortunately Coastal's strength (effective passing QB) is our weak spot (defensive backs). If we can find a way to make Quick a better passer and our DB's better covering receivers in one week we will have a shot. Miracles can happen. i don't know that our problem is that our db's can't cover well. to me, the problem appeared to be a lack of "communication" in our secondary more than anything else. i mean, i didn't see aa&m wr's shake our db's to get open. what i saw was aa&m wr's release from the line of scrimmage and not a single soul in our secondary bothered to pick them up. i don't if some of our db's thought we were playing zone coverage instead of man coverage or vice versa. i think we have the necessary speed and cover skills in our secondary, but i don't think they've played together long enough to communicate the coverages properly. i mean, aa&m wr's released from the line of scrimmage and basically nobody paid attention to them as if our safeties were gonna pick them up...

Should be a good crowd since it's the first home game, the good showing yesterday and the high expectations. I will expect no less than 15k at a minimum. i agree. we have all of the factors on our side that we need to packed the joint this weekend, especially since its a night game. hopefully the weather will cooperate, hopefully all aggies will wear "gold" and sell aggie stadium out. i missed orlando but oleschool ain't missing this one! see ya'll in aggieland...

And welcome to BDV! I was on your MB last night and read the comment that you referenced. We have enough problems in this country for comments like that from either side. Back to on-the-field stuff, I have a vested interest in three of your games this season. I was a student-athlete at SC State, later transferring to A&T where I was also a student-athlete. I have also spent 11 years in two stints as assistant AD at FAMU. However, as an Aggie alum, it is this game on Saturday that has my undivided interest. I think that it has the makings of a classic "knockdown-dragout" and I wish that it was a part of the MEAC's package deal with the MEAC. Like you stated, here's hoping for a great game!

They have their reasons they think they will win and we have ours. The only thing that's a fact is that A&T is a much better team this year than we have been the last 3 match-ups. The team I saw the at the end of last year and in this year's season opener is much more prepared.

it is "imperative" that we put a ton of "pressure" on ccu's qb. pressure on the qb can make any defensive secondary look good. so if i'm the coaches this week, i'd place a heavy emphasis on correcting our defensive secondary issues, but at the same time i'd also place a ton of emphasis on pressuring the qb...

I think we will be better on defense...when you make the kind errors we made on Sunday and still win 47-13, that speaks volumes...at least to me it does. That doesn't mean we cannot lose...I don't see the regular, "Rollover and assume the position" beatdown in this one. Then too...we have a great opportunity as well, this is the #4 team in the country coming into our house. It's an opportunity for not only our players and coaches but, fans as well...so, I hope we show up and show out. But, I expect a good hard fought game.
