You guys played one heck of a game. We were lucky to get a win. I was worried about this game, but who though it would end up a missed Xtra point??? A missed XP, a missed FG, a poorly defended punt return that led to a score and a poorly covered KR return for a TD... that hurts. That said...your offense is very good...great play design...very impressed by your WRs and TE (#5). Our WRs weren't making nearly as many plays to help our QB out. Good win for you guys....hopefully we see you again in the playoffs. Sent from my EVO using proboards

We got away from the run and it cost us. 32 passes are WAY too many for Quick. I get you can't run Cohen into the ground, but going to Cartwright is a better option than Quick dropping back that much...
Tough loss, but we can't let Coastal beat us twice. Time to get ready for Elon. I can live with a 3-1 out of conference record.

OK...this game is over and can't be re-played.
Get it out of the players' minds, the coaches' minds and our minds.
GET READY FOR ELON!!
A loss to them would erase every positive thing our 1-1 record has built.

This was the worst game I have seen Alex Ross have at CCU. I said this on our board, and I don't mean this as a knock at all, but it didn't seem like it was b/c of your guys' D. He just wasn't his usual self. Not making the smart reads. Some really dumb throws and not protecting the ball. e Yea, if Quick can learn to throw better he would be awesome, but more than one of his throw tonight were head scratchers.. I'd have to say that our defense had a lot to do with how well Alex played.... seems like you are looking for blame and making excuses to back all of the junk that you talked in the last few days. Very good game by both teams, and the bottom line you all got away with this one. The refs, were Big South or what ever your league is (believe me we know our refs. pretty good), and you have already called on them as an excuse, and now poor old Alex who did all that he could against a great but young defense. You did 2 other wrong things, and they are that you have overrated CCU and under rated US... In my eyes you are no more than a big mouth chump...

Another adjustment I would make...I would have a package of plays for Denzel Keyes to run out of the slot. Quick's strength is throwing inside and to his right side....I think that's where Keyes needs to be at certain points in our gameplan

And you might want to learn your officials then: Officials: Referee: Tra Blake; Umpire: Gregory Smith; Linesman: John Drayton; Line judge: Greg Diserio; Back judge: Brian Corder; Field judge: Corey Berry; Side judge: Kevin Violette;

It was an MEAC crew but they were equally bad to both sides. To try and blame them is poor sportsmanship and a cop out!

Finding their names, copying and paste them here in no way tell me that they were'nt Big South officials. Too late for you to speak about class, you've already said to much and had no class when it did not happen as you predicted and started making excuses regardless of where the officials are from. You should learn more about the teams that you want to talk smack to the level in which you did..

I think a lot of CCU fans are either delusional or just plain arrogant if they think they are the only FCS program in this region of the country that plays good football. Broadway has been building this program from the bottom up over the last three years to a competitive level to play the App States and the CCU's of the world straight up in head-to-head matchups. Much of the "bad play" they attribute to bad officiating or having an off night was in fact due to a young A&T team that is extremely talented and loaded with a speed that refused to roll over or be intimidated.
CUU's coach and players rightfully gave full credit to A&T for having much to do with CCU's performance during their post game comments. Too bad so many rank file CCU fans simply refuse to acknowledge that same truth.

How is this even possible.....it seems that this would be a conflict of interest as well as tainted our victory if we would have won! Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards

I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I was filled with emotional highs and lows all night. We definitely had our chances to seal the victory. As a team we are going to learn how to win these types of games. It is my sincere WISH that we play CCU again in the playoffs this year. We have some UNFINISHED BUSINNESS.
