I totally disagree on the statement about parents participating in red-shirt decision. Are you serious? They are his parents and will always have a say in their sons decisions for the rest his or their's life. WOW! dude, calm down! you're only reading what you want to think i said. if you read my statement as i wrote it instead of how you want to read it, you'd see that i said its not a good idea for "SOME" parents. now, does that mean "all" parents? i also stated, "not all parents are like that, but "some" are. folk often ask me why i use quotes so much and you're a perfect example why. because folk like you only read what they "think", not what i type. instead of rushing to judge what folk post, why don't you take your time and read "exactly" what is typed. geeesh...

Knowing what you know at this stage in life... Heck naw I wouldn't have wanted to redshirt back thenI also drank and drove, had unprotected premarital relations, stole cheese from the grocery store, and routinely drove over 90 mph. I'm not equating not redshirting to those vile habits. I am saying your outlook changes with wisdom. At lease mine has. I suspect that while he currently may feel discouraged in time he'll feel very good about it and be happy with the decision. Hey Doom, are we twins? "I also drank and drove, had unprotected premarital relations, stole cheese from the grocery store, and routinely drove over 90 mph."

Coaches are not always right True BP1 but it's the coaches team and he will do what is best for his team. As Face would say " It's my way are the high way" I feel that Broadway is doing what is best for the Team 1st and player 2nd.

(but it made it back to the Boro -in the snow I believe- after a NCCU BB game). lol

I don't believe that parents should have some say when it pertains to coaching decisions. They are not there everyday in practice, film sessions and the like while the coaches are and evaluating every step of the way. Coach will do what is best for the team, parents will do what they think is best for their child.. JMO

good QB Redshirt decision by coaches; we probably won't need to recruit a QB in this year's class, making room for MORE recruiting efforts in areas of NEED.
