If Fobbs and company could pick up the two dismissed players from Carolina , what would your feelings be ? Great for the program or do we not need any less than stellar character guys added in the mix ?

He needs all the help he can get. Anyone short of Jack the Ripper would be a welcomed addition at this point.

We could use some thug influence on this team!! As 4XL would say, the majority of the kids on this team are "soft as doctor's cotten". Remember, Hayes kept him a few thug on the team every year.

(Remember, Hayes kept him a few thug on the team every year.) You have to have some thugs on your team to infulence the soft players to become dogs............. Smart move if the kid does not get in trouble? ?!!!!!! ??.....................

With this coaching staff, will it matter?

We'll see. Great players made Coach Hayes look pretty good.

That's a dumb quote by a horrible X and Os coach.
Darryl Klugh was a engineering major. He was the heart and soul of that 99 championship team.

P.E. majors are the reason BCF teams always get outclassed when they face a quality out-of-conference opponent.
Check how many P.E. majors are on Ap State's team.

PE majors are same kids who can't recover an onside kick against Howard.

I think Coach Hayes was a p.e. major. I read where (I don't know how true it was) Hayes said that 60% of that '99 squad was engineering majors.
P.E. majors have nothing to do with why bcf programs are outclassed by quality out-of-conference opponents. P.E. coaches, budgets, and schedules will do it to you every time.

Back then Hayes would say anything. You can't take everything he said serious. That was just Hayes being Hayes. He would love to have won with all engineering majors on his teams but he did always have a few so called thugs on his teams.

I wonder how many p.e. majors and thugs were on the Wofford team that reamed us in ’03? Or that Citadel team that wore our @ss out in '92? Or the YSU team that didn't punt in '99?
We need disciplined play, solid execution, and fundamentals. Thugs will only get you to round 1, not past it.
