GREENSBORO – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference released its television schedule on Friday, and it included three games that will feature the North Carolina A&T football team.
The MEAC TV schedule will open with the Aggies. A&T will travel to Orlando, Fla., to face Alabama A&M in the annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 11:45 a.m. In their first-ever meeting, the two teams will play live on ESPN from Bright House Networks Stadium. Fans can also see the game on their computers, mobile devices, and Xbox Lives at WatchESPN. With the NFL still a week away from its opening week, the Aggies and the Bulldogs should garner a lot of attention.
A&T will play on television twice in October, starting on Saturday, Oct. 4. For the second straight season the Aggies will face conference foe S.C. State at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta as part of the Atlanta Football Classic. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. The game will air tape-delayed the same day at 10 p.m., on ESPNU. The game will air live on ESPN3.com.
Five days after facing off with SCSU, A&T will play a Thursday night tilt on Oct. 9 against Aggie great and current Hampton head coach Connell Maynor and his Pirates at Aggie Stadium. Game time is 7:30 p.m. The Aggies will also stream four home games live on ncataggies.com’s LockTV. Coastal Carolina (Sept. 6), Chowan (Sept. 20), Florida A&M (Oct. 25) and Morgan State (Nov. 8) can be seen for free on LockTV.
