The BCU win was very impressive to me. Also winning GHOE that year against DSU was icing on the cake. I can't help remembering at that time thinking that when Broadway get a few of his recruiting classes in here we are going to be very good. And I still feel that way.

I know App State had an awful year when we beat them but hell, that's not our fault. To go to their place and beat them the way we did is great no matter what they did after that game. Especially when we finally realized that our offense really sucked that year too. We dominate them at their place with great defense, outstanding special team play and great play calling. So I'll put that victory at the top of my list for Broadway.

Without a doubt App State. To go up to the rock and beat them and collect $150,000? It doesn't get any better than that.

I voted for the Bethune game. I think the App State game was a program defining win, but since the question was most impressive victory, there's no way I could look past the Bethune game. We dominated them on both sides of the ball and really shut down their running game

I think we got more press coverage when we beat App State, like they did when they beat Michigan. However, in terms of Broadway's best victory, I voted for the BCU game because that was the key game that demonstrated that the team were buying into and believing Broadway's overall coaching strategy, particularly, the defense. Not only did our defense shut BCU out the last 3 quarters of the game but our offense scored in each quarter of the game. Offensively, we gained three times more yards than they did (300 -vs- 108) and we gave up NO sacks and sacked them 3 times. Other than punting yards (163 -vs- 199), we beat them in every aspect of the game, including first downs (20 -vs- 5), time of possession (40.41 minutes -vs- 19:19), net rushing yardage (211 -vs- 5), etc so to me that was Broadway's most impressive victory.

No one gave us a chance agains BCC, and it was the first defining win under Broadway. The ASU win was big but in retrospect ASU was not really that good, plus coaching wise, we had the advantage over the rookie ASU coach. We play Black College football, plain and simple, that's our stage, and we beat the top program in our space at the time,
