its been so boring around here lately that i figured i'd pose this question for debate. of all the victories coach broadway has achieved since coming to a&t, which win do you think was the most impressive and why? i'm gonna think about this one for a while before i give my answer, but i'm leaning toward the 2011 bcu win by the score of 22-3 at aggie stadium...

I voted for the victory over Bethune in 2011. After nearly a decade, we won homecoming that year vs. Delaware State which was very significant also. It was the first year of the Game Zone & I still remember how festive it was and the happy folks dancing on Lindsey St. after the game! We had finally won homecoming...

I went with Bethune as well. That was a complete domination of a team that had been EMBARASING us over the previous years.

i would have picked app state had they not had such a horrible season. app state is #2 on my list even though they had a season far below their standards that year, but we nor they knew at the time that they'd have a down year. so app state gets my #2.
but i'm gonna stick with the bethune victory as my #1 just because nobody on this here planet earth (including me) expected us to beat bethune that year, much less "dominate" them the way that we did. i think that was the win that made the entire meac take us seriously after that. the week before we beat bcu, we beat morgan state "on the road" 24-3 and i was at that game, but nobody took us seriously after beating morgan. this was the same year that we loss to app state 58-6 and coastal carolina 31-14 before playing morgan.
so to me, the bcu win by far was the biggest. to this very day, i still have the brian jenkins coach's show stored on my dvr for the week they discussed our game. this is hilarious, but that's the "ONLY" episode of that show where bcu didn't show the video highlights of the game bcu just finished playing! coach jenkins could barely talk during that show because he was so very "depressed" over that loss. man, the expression on coach jenkins face and his body language was "priceless"! that's why i never did delete that episode. he almost looked as if he had seen a "ghost"! it was like his body was there, but his mind was some place else...

If we beat Coastal Carolina, that victory will be near the top of the list.

That's the one I chose also , it was Broadway's first year , and he didn't have a recruiting class . That's when I knew he could flat out coach , he took Jenkins lunch money that day , old boy was having a fit on the sideline . To me that's when we became relevant in the MEAC.

I liked hearing the BCU post game press conference comments about how we just flat out whooped them... I can still feel this one, and it is one of my favorites... www.youtube.com/watch?v=--P2DsBuL70 (post game celebration provided by BDV).

I voted for the App. State game. I don't remember anyone on this board giving us a chance especially since our starting quarterback was not going to play. With App. State moving up in status and having 85 schollies and us still being on restriction made this victory even more special. Yeah hind sight is 20/20 but no one knew that App. State was not going to be good last year. I think everyone on this board was on a special type of high for at least a week after we won! We had the all of the MEAC on notice!

i know this is outside the question. But I would also like to add i was very impress when he took a team his first year I think we only had one win the year before and with those same players we went 5-6 and our games was very competitive with one exception App.(6-58).
I knew we had a great coach because he hated to lose. Until we when championship he will not leave is my belief.

You are right!!! You could tell he never let nothing get by him. If a player get a personal foul trust me he was going to hear about it on and off the Football Field!!!!! If you notice we dont have that many personal fouls anymore!!!!!!
