What happened to Spring Ball? The NCAA Tournament comes along and bang...I don't hear nothing else about our Spring Ball. Is it over? Did we have some great new players standout? Do we look like we fixed our offensive problems? Hey, the Aggies are out of the big dance so give me something to hope we will be better this fall. I second that!

They had a real live scrimmage on Saturday morning. They had officials and the coaches had head phones on like during a real game. I really like what I saw out of the defence and the offence. Tarik C. (RB) looked like he always look, great. The best looking player out on the field on Sat. was Quick (QB). He ran and threw the ball like a seasoned vet. If Quick is not the starter this season it means that he either got hurt or just quit the team, because he looked really, really good. No kidding!! Frankie, the white kid (QB) had some good moments but overall he was mediocre. He looked okay on the short passes but not so good on long passes where he under-threw most of the time. The big OL Parker (can't remmember his first name) looked good and he was getting a lot of praise from the coaches. The defence looked as if they may be a little better than they were last season (strength and quickness), especially on the DL. The play of the day was when #99 DL (can't remmember his name)hit both the QB (Frankie) and Tarik C. at the same time (sandwiched) as the ball was being handed to Tarik. You would have to have seen the hit to really appreciate it. It was a thing of beauty. All the coaches ran out on the field chest bumpping the player and themselves. They were not protecting the QB, they were letting them get hit just like everyone else. Overall it was a very good scrimmage. I really like what I saw.

If the spring game is anything like the scrimmage on Sat. morning you all will be very glad you came out. There were several defensive and offensive starters that did not participate in the scrimmage due to injuries.

Oh, and by the way, Belcher ex-QB is in fact playing LB now. He even played with the first team defence during the scrimmage and looked good. He is wearing #2. I was also told by one of the ex-players that the coaches were also thinking about moving Femi (QB) to defence. Femi did play QB in the scrimmage and he did not look that good.

Grant did not take part in the scrimmage. He is taking part in spring ball he just did not participate in the scrimmage. I don't know if he is hurt or not. There were several players that did not participate due to injuries.

Yes he he's back for one more killer season- Aggie Football Finally Gets Spring Workout Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information Release: 03/24/2014 Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information
GREENSBORO – . In the eyes of fourth-year head coach Rod Broadway, the North Carolina A&T football team has pretty much put together two consecutive 7-4 seasons on effort. Add in fundamentals and technique, however, and there might have been some trophies associated with that effort. Spring practice has returned to Aggieland as the Aggies completed practice No. 8 on Saturday, March 22. The team will practice March 24, 26, 28 and 29 of this week, and March 31 and April 2 before playing in the Spring Game on April 5 at noon. The coaches are expecting big things out of him this year. The play you described is a great sign.
