We were ahead for a few days but I think Alabama A&M kicked it into another gear. Let's keep voting and spread the word. I hate to see this much "free" money slip through our fingers.

i've been voting almost every day, but we need a "massive" approach to voting. somebody somewhere who has an extensive email list of aggie alums/students should send out a massive email to a bunch of our folk. i'm pretty sure our student and alumni base is bigger than aamu, its just a matter of reaching our masses...

To be honest I never knew about the voting until I saw it on this site. Are there other ways that we can explore? Facebook statuses, tweets, Instagram, announcing at home sporting events(didn't read the entire rule section), The school newspaper, schools radio station, closing remarks of campus events? I was on campus recently working at the Career Fair and I took my co workers to the cafe and a random flash mob performed to get across a message about joining some "movement". Just throwing out ideas. Nevertheless I voted lol

The information is out there. It's on the university & alumni association's websites. It has been in the weekly Alumni Times e-blast sent by Advancement. relations.ncat.edu/pubs/alumnitimes/2014/mar6/index.htmlIt's being flooded on facebook, twitter & instagram. I know that it will be part of Claudette's Founder's Day message to be sent out to the chapters and other list-servs. People have to be willing to engage in the activity and stay consistent. Then we have to turn this same effort to alumni & friends giving. Did you know that Text 2 Give is back active & live now? - www.ncat.edu/giving/text-to-give.htmlSome of our tweet language that we have tweeted from @ncatsuaggies & @ncatalumni

1 Alabama A&M University - 34264 2 North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University - 31589 wow! aamu has opened up a bigger lead on us. we need a "mass" movement. too bad the weather caused us to have a smaller than normal turnout for the scsu basketball, that would've been a good time to promote this contest over the pa system...
