If we are 3 and 0 when we play Chowan, nobody will care about a cupcake game but if we are 0 and 3, we will celebrate that game. I don't mind playing a cupcake game, I just wish we could find one that "might" bring more that a dozen fans. Even JC Smith or Shaw would probably draw a better crowd on both sides of the stadium than Chowan. Well no matter who's on our schedule this year, we have got to take care of business. We've got to get our fans and alumni in the mind-set of them coming to SEE THE AGGIES PLAY...screw who is on the other sideline. Defense wins championships, but offense sells tickets..... If the offense scores 35-40 points per game by the time we get to the Chowan game.... more folks will be there than you think. That would be a great promotional game, though.... a good opportunity to try some of the ideas that have been floated on the board in the past.

It a nice schedule to be honest I thought we were going to grab Livingstone. Good A&T promotions will be needed for the Costal and Chowan game.

To start conference play with Howard and SCSU on the road. That is going to be tough

To start conference play with Howard and SCSU on the road. That is going to be tough Could be... If Howard gets any improvement in their WRs, McGhee will give every team in the MEAC a tough day, win or lose. SC State had a lot of seniors in key positions, especially at WR, and their starting QB... they could be even better, but they may not. Even though we lost our starting CBs, I the fact that like that guys like Tony McRae and Landis Shoffner got a bit of playing time at CB last year... and played pretty decent. If they win the starting jobs like I think they will, that will allow the young speedsters to develop. A guy like Zerius Lockhart was recruited to be a star safety and Quick could end up back there, too... that would be a plus The secondary may not be all that inexperienced after spring ball. But we'll see.

i don’t think our secondary had a superior season last year, but that may have been because we really didn’t have a strong pass rush. hopefully we’ll get that fixed this upcoming season...

You right they will calm down. I wander now that Manor is on the other side of the fence will he be willing to meet the demands that Hayes request.

I would agree.... particularly in the 4th quarter. I think we kinda over-hyped the "No-Fly Zone" thing a bit. I liked what I saw out of McRae in flashes at the nickel. I believe he can be a better cover CB than Deji or Graham by the time he's done.

Now I just need to make that Atlanta trip for once. pj, if the atl is anywhere near as good as it was last year, you’ll luv it! especially if you get club seats, the “day party” was off the hook last year. its the only time ever that i had a good time even though we loss the game... Thanks Oleschool. Shucks I would not know when to step into the party...maybe during a blowout. lol.

Off-the-cuff, my recommendation would be to go about 2,000 over capacity...but not without input from campus security and GPD on adequate safety for all patrons and traffic patterns.
